That was a heavy handed hint or diversion tactic. I bet that FBI woman IS Red John’s “friend in the FBI”. The fact they used that specific language was either for us to go ‘ah hah’, or to make us too sure of ourselves and that in itself makes me doubt it. But for now, I’m going to assume she is.
But MINELLI’S friend in the FBI? Minelli couldn’t be Red John. No, I just… that’s too sad because he’s so sweet. OH FUCK, if he is, that’s exactly what Red John tries to do, charm people. Oh GOD.
But then who is that guy in the car? We’ve never seen him. Either A) He’s a disciple of Red John, (I don’t think he can be Red John himself, because he doesn’t fit the description. But they were in a limo, and Red John has used limos before. Eh, consequential.) OR, B) He is an actual worker on a higher up part of law enforcement who is tracking Red John secretly in a different group. Maybe something about Bertram led them to want to keep track of him… And that’s why he asked the FBI woman to keep tabs….
AAUUUHGHHGH. I have to know.
Other than that, omg I was shitting bricks at the adorableness of the whole crew. The couch. Lisbon thinking he looked homeless-y. Whole thing was awesome.
