The Sims 4 Announced - FULL VIP Conference Call Audio! (door TheSimSupply)

And going back to their roots? I’m about to cry :’)
WOW. I didn’t expect that announcement!!
2014, it’s offline (they felt they had to re-iterate that), and they want EVERYONE to feel like they are creators of the game. (Which I found a little transparent and shmoozy, but it’s definitely true, because fans do think up the best ideas for future game versions.)
2 qualms:
- Could the PR lady(s) possibly try to pretend like they aren’t reading a paper, and sound more genuine? I’m not trying to be mean, but… it sounds poorly rehearsed Like, I understand, being on the phone is stressful, and even I have anxiety problems with it. But if you’re in PR, and you have to rub elbows with people and gain their trust, you have to sound sincere, and I think it’s really obvious she was reading instead of at least making it feel like she was talking to these people. I mean, even if she wrote what she was reading just for these guys, it still sounded canned. Maybe take some acting classes, or public speaking?
- And 2, EA, you’ve toyed with my heart almost too many times… I’ve been burned by EA with the Sims franchise in the past, even just recently when they pulled the Facebook game! (Which, hello, would have been a genius PR move to keep the Facebook game running for 1 more year and then stop it just when Sims 4 comes out so that people are hungry for it!) And we aren’t even gonna TOUCH the whole Mass Effect debacle .. EA you f’ed up big time, and MANY times… so… I am just saying I’m worried. Maybe Sims 4 will be great, and I’ll probably have no choice but to get it, but… I am leery. With good reason.
BUT ALL THAT ASIDE, Maxis may be owned by EA, but it’s still MAXIS making it, and they are improving the whole thing, and it’s probably gonna make us all wet out pants with whatever they come up with! (I can’t believe I forgot that Sims 1 had no genetics! Until she said something about it! And when I saw my first sunset in Sims 3, my mind was blown!) So I am sure this thing is gonna suck up so many hours, and I am actually excited!

Oh this just sickens me 1000x more. It was a great game, but that they just chucked all their workers at Playfish is even more disgusting. I can safely say the sims games were the BEST graphics I have seen in any Facebook game, and that EA or Playfish didn’t have their workers move on to their new projects just disgusts me.
I’m glad that you say they got new jobs, but omg, that is so shady. That is not ok.
